NBA fans might finally be hearing what many of them have been waiting for after growing tired of seeing LeBron James in purple and gold.

According to Bleacher Report’s Jake Fischer, both the Lakers and James appear to be bracing for separation once the season ends.

“Definitively, the Lakers are ready to move on from LeBron James, and I think LeBron James is ready to move on from the Lakers as well. That’s the kind of the foregone sentiment in Los Angeles right now about what’s to come this summer,” Fischer said.

That report immediately opened the floodgates among NBA fans, who began debating what the final chapters of James’ career should look like.

@HiddenNBA said, “As they should. Lakers won’t win anything until they move on from the 41-year-old taking up half their cap space.”

Others leaned toward a more sentimental ending.

@wheespersnap1 added, “Send him back to Cleveland. That’s where he belongs. Let him finish out his career and be done with it.”

Not everyone is ready to see the book close just yet.

@CheeseheadBrian pointed out, “I want to see him break Robert Parrish’s games played record first. Not a LeBron fan, but it’ll be cool to watch this. He’s supposed to break the record early next month.”

For now, James remains in Los Angeles. Still, with speculation growing louder, NBA fans are left wondering how much longer that will remain the case.

“A true example of Bron haters being salty of his greatness”: NBA fans mock courtside spectator’s reaction on Reggie Miller losing his mind over LeBron James’ dunk

While questions about LeBron’s future swirled, NBA fans were also busy reacting to another viral moment involving him.

On Sunday, the Lakers visited Madison Square Garden to face the New York Knicks. Despite being 41, James showed no signs of slowing down, finishing multiple plays above the rim.

After one alley-oop dunk, Reggie Miller was caught on the broadcast losing his mind. That reaction alone would’ve been enough — but what really took off was the spectator seated behind Miller.

The fan appeared visibly annoyed by Miller’s enthusiasm, and NBA fans quickly turned the clip into a running joke.

@Jezuslane joked, “A true example of Bron haters being salty of his greatness.”

@NoseBleedsSport added, “That was a glazeable moment tho.”

    Others saw a simpler explanation.

@amyknowsball said, “Maybe he’s annoyed he’s blocking his view.”

Whether it’s debates about his future or reactions to another highlight dunk, NBA fans continue to treat LeBron James as the league’s most unavoidable figure — even when the conversation has nothing to do with the scoreboard.
