LiAngelo Ball narrated a story of how he was being forced into marriage with Rashida Nicole. Ball mentioned that his ex-wife drove him into the courthouse and he was bout to cry in the car. However, NBA fans were not buying the story, as many questioned him for his comments.
Ball filed for divorce after Nicole announced that she was pregnant. Things didn’t go well between the two, as it ended on a bad note. Ball stated that he didn’t like his estranged wife. Here’s what the rapper had to say.
“She drove me [to the courthouse], n***a. I’m out there about to cry in the whip,” Ball recalled. “I felt disconnected type shit. I’m telling her like, ‘I don’t want to get married, n***a. I don’t want to do none of this shit.’ But then I was like, ‘I’m doing it though, n***a.’ And I did not understand.“

While his side of the story seemed right to him, NBA fans begged to differ. Fans took the opportunity to question Ball. Here are some reactions from X.
“He is a grown ass man, acting like he didn’t have free will. Straight DARVO and GASLIGHTING,” one fan wrote.
“Being around a man with this little courage, conviction, any real ability to speak up in the moment, and no genuine ability to self-advocate or even set a pace is actually dangerous. They will derail their whole life, and yours, off of impulse and cowardice (Loudly crying face),” one fan wrote.
“And she made you walk into the building and get on the elevator and say vows and say I do?” another fan asked.
NBA Fans Continued To Troll LiAngelo Ball For His Comments
Many fans were in disbelief, some were not impressed, and some took the opportunity to troll the rapper. NBA fans continued to drop wild reactions to Ball’s comments.

“Pops spent so much time teaching bro how to hoop he never gave him the life lessons he needed to be a man,” one fan chipped in.
Ball’s story went viral, and NBA fans had a good time trolling him. Most fans questioned him in disbelief.
