Former NBA player Dwyane Wade has often appeared on podcasts. He shares his thoughts on players and all that’s happening in and around the NBA. Wade has won three Championships in his career, and many look up to him. However, NBA fans never liked his latest comment on his recent podcast appearance.
Dwyane Wade was talking about the All-Star game when he blurted out something that felt unnecessary. Wade stated that the All-Star game must be removed from the middle of the season.
“I don’t think we should stop and do the All-Star game in middle of season… I see the pro bowl. The All Star game should be a trip, a vacation,” Dwyane Wade said.
While Wade was speaking his mind, NBA fans took to social media with negative reactions on Wade’s suggestion. Fans called out the former player for his bold take. Here are some reactions from X.

“No one would come if its after the season + the break is great for players to rest before the most important part of the season,” another fan wrote.
“u think players wanna go to an all star game during their only 3 month off szn lmao,” another fan wrote.
While a few NBA fans laughed at the idea, some seemed to agree with him. However, the majority of fans dropped negative comments.

Fans lashed out further as he mentioned the Pro Bowl. Many stated that the All-Star game was giving players a break to rest and restart the second half of the season.

“He’s probably the only person who seen the pro bowl lmfaoo no one watches that bull shit,” one fan chimed in.
“If we do this, then we should move the nba cup to middle of the season, aftee the nba cup final the players get a minimum 1-2 week break before the important second half of the season,” another fan chipped in.
NBA fans were right about the break for players during the All-Star game. As for Wade, his comment seemed unwanted.
