Magic Johnson’s family photo has been making the rounds again on social media, and NBA fans wasted no time turning it into a roast session — with most of the trolling aimed at his son, EJ.
An old photo featuring Magic, EJ, and the rest of the family resurfaced online, and despite Johnson’s long-standing public support of his son’s sexuality, that didn’t stop fans from firing off jokes.
@BowTiedYukon posted, “That big one ain’t got no magic? She should be running the WNBA.”
@heraldnotherod added, “they all look normal apart from the mf at the right.”
And @futurewwediva01 went even further, saying, “Told EJ to step aside so they can crop him out them pics later.”

Magic, one of the most iconic figures in NBA history, has never pressured EJ to follow in his basketball footsteps and has consistently supported his son’s right to live freely and openly.
“Magic made players better”: NBA fans discredit Russell Westbrook after surpassing Magic Johnson’s record
While some fans were busy taking shots at his family, Magic Johnson himself was back in the spotlight for a different reason — this time due to Russell Westbrook passing him on the NBA’s all-time assists list.
Following the Sacramento Kings’ 113–107 win over the Dallas Mavericks, Westbrook dished out nine assists, pushing him into seventh place all-time and officially surpassing Magic’s previous mark.
Even so, many fans weren’t ready to put the two in the same conversation.

@TalkNBAHoops pointed to longevity, saying, “Magic played 13 seasons, Russell Westbrook has played 17 seasons.”
And @J_Talks_Hoops boiled it down to efficiency: “Took him 361 more games.”
Magic finished his career with 10,141 assists, while Westbrook moved ahead with 10,142 during a 21-point performance against Dallas. The record may be broken, but for many fans, Magic’s impact — and how he elevated everyone around him — still stands in a league of its own.
