“Just Mad Steph Overtook Him”: NBA Fans Troll Reggie Miller’s Prediction Of Rookie Kon Knueppel Breaking Steph Curry’s 3-Point Records

NBA fans are trolling Reggie Miller for his prediction that rookie Kon Knueppel will soon beat Steph Curry’s three-point record. Miller appeared on the ‘Dan Patrick Show’ where he was asked about Kneuppel’s 63 three-pointers in just 17 games and the legend compared the rookie’s first year with that of Curry, clearly hailing the former as the better champ. Of course, fans could not hold back their jokes, basically pointing out that Miller is sorely jealous of Curry.

“Dare I say this…is Stephen Curry going to be a little nervous in about 15 years? Just go back and look at Steph’s first two or three years, in terms of three pointers made, and what Kon has done this year. Just look at their first years. Here’s the problem – he’s got to stay healthy and have longevity. Can Kon Knueppel do that over a long period of time? I wanna see it, and Kon is doing it in Charlotte.” Reggie Miller said.

“Reggie is just mad steph overtook him years ago” one fan said.

“I’m sick of these retired NBA players saying ridiculous stuff on podcasts just to get a bit of attention” another fan trolled.

“We serious here? Reggie Miller maybe lay off the black tar pickens.” One more fan mocked Miller.

NBA Fans Feel Reggie Miller’s Comments Are Way Off

Meanwhile, many NBA fans came to Steph Curry’s defense, outright dismissing Reggie Miller’s comments about Kon Knueppel perhaps beating his record. Curry is hailed as a GOAT by a large percentage of fans and is continuing to add to his numbers well into his years.

“There we go with overreactions. Once the defenses start preparing for him its going to be a different story. He is insanely good right now, but lets not disrespect the GOAT shooter like that already” one fan stated.

“Knueppel ain’t getting close stop it (smiling face with tightly closed eyes emoji x2)” another fan said.

“15 years from now lol. He will be well into HOF status by then. If Kon can keep it up good for him but we do not need to be having this conversation 20 games into his rookie year.” one more fan added.

While Kon Knueppel has managed to impress plenty in his debut season in the league, his numbers are definitely no way close to that of Steph. Plus, Curry has shown talent in many more areas on the court, apart from three pointers, something which fans have been pointing out constantly in the comments.
