NBA fans are wholly reacting to Victor Wembanyama’s remarks about Deni Avdija in a recent presser. Wemby managed to solely speak about Avdija’s game on the court, and did not at all talk about the Trail Blazers hooper’s views on Israel.
Fans feel that reporters did this on purpose, trying to bait a response from Wemby on Israel and the regional politics surrounding the nation. Wemby was pretty smart in his response and it looks like he caught on to the bait and was clever enough to not take it.
“How he’s viewed? They say a lot of free throws, so playing against him – I haven’t played against him this year, but as for tonight – (he was) defending without fouling, and I mean — I don’t know how many minutes I shared with him on the court, but, as I was saying before. I mean today was a pretty fun experience. I think what he displayed basketball-wise was solid, and it shows on the results. I mean, it was close games with intensity.” Victor Wembanyama said.

“Why is he been asked about the IDF soldier? This Israeli PR from Adam Silver is insane,” one fan said.
“Wemby knows they’re fishing and he handled it perfectly,” another fan said.
“Wemby just showed how intelligent and thoughtful he is. I like this kid.” one more fan said.
It looks like Victor Wembanyama has actually created a pretty positive perspective of himself in the eyes of fans. Wemby is often considered to be the future of the league and it clearly looks like he is going in the right path.
NBA Fans Love Wemby’s Remarks On Deni Avdija
NBA fans are heaping praise on Victor Wembanyama for the way he handled the conversation regarding Deni Avdija. Some feel that Wemby is absolutely disgusted by the Israeli player but just put on a chill face for the sake of the reporters.

“I just now realized he said ‘my advise is to defend without falling’ I’m crying (crying emoji)” one fan remarked.
“He hates that motherf***er with everything he has. New GOAT has ascended.” One fan said.
“I don’t watch NBA now because gambling ruined it, but does Deni get like every foul call? There is no corruption an Israeli doesn’t like lol,” another fan said.
Deni Avdija has been under plenty of fire for his remarks about the ongoing conflict in Gaza. Nevertheless, Avdija has been sticking to his guns, speaking out frequently on his opinions about the war.
