NBA fans were sent into chaos again after an old Josh Hart tweet resurfaced — one that made his stance on Donald Trump pretty clear. The post, originally from 2020, showed Hart celebrating the election results with an all-caps message that aged like fine Twitter chaos.

“YESSIR!!!! GET TRUMP’S DUMBASS OUT THE WHITE HOUSE!!!!!!” Hart wrote.

Fast-forward to today, and NBA fans on X (formerly Twitter) couldn’t resist reviving the post.
Some fans thought it was hilarious that others had just realized Hart wasn’t on the same side of the political fence as they assumed.
One user joked, “LMAO realizing your player isn’t right wing hits harder than crack,” while another, @Neymar10730, said, “Niggas fucking weirdos. A black man can’t be a Christian without y’all calling him right wing, saying this as someone who hates Trump.”
The thread quickly turned into a mix of political banter and fan confusion. Some NBA fans said they didn’t care who Hart voted for, while others acted like it was the plot twist of the season.
Another user, @JalenMunchson, put it simply: “Caring this much over someone’s political beliefs is down horrendous. You need a hobby big fella.”
Josh Hart has always been one of the more outspoken personalities in the league, both on and off the court. From memes to locker-room jokes, he’s known for saying what he thinks — and this resurfaced tweet just reminded NBA fans that he doesn’t back down, even when politics enters the chat.

While NBA fans were busy roasting Josh Hart’s old political tweet, another post of his started making rounds — this time about basketball. The New York Knicks guard recently tweeted:

“Leave me alone. We about the go 8-0 to end the season and sneak into the playoffs.”
Bold words, but NBA fans came ready with receipts.
One replied, “Cooked u bruh,” while another, @Rolls_Of_Sushi, posted the current record: “1-5 currently, right there with ya Josh.”

It’s classic internet energy. The same confidence that made Hart tweet his political thoughts now fuels his basketball takes, and NBA fans never miss a chance to hold players accountable — with humor, of course. The Knicks have struggled with consistency all year, and while Hart’s optimism got a few laughs, even fans who love him admitted the timing didn’t help.

Still, you can’t fault him for the mindset. That kind of belief is what keeps teams alive when the standings look rough. But as NBA fans pointed out, manifesting wins and actually getting them are two very different things.
Between his old tweets and new declarations, Josh Hart continues to give NBA fans endless entertainment — both for his passion and his perfectly memeable confidence. Whether it’s politics or playoffs, he stays true to form: loud, honest, and always ready to tweet first and deal with the replies later.
