NBA Fans didn’t hold back after a clip of Milwaukee head coach Doc Rivers went viral on Sunday. In the clip, taken from NBA Countdown, Rivers was fiercely denying the trade rumors surrounding Giannis Antetokounmpo. While Fans remain divided on the trade issues, they couldn’t help but poke fun at Rivers’ odd voice.
User @playoffzinzy tried to call out Rivers, writing, “I just think nobody in the league is tryna listen to that voice, Jesus Christ drink some water bro,” while defending Rivers as a good coach.

Meanwhile, user @Spicy_Rich commented, “Bro sounds like he’s convincing himself,” claiming the veteran coach is defending himself from the rumors.
Despite many NBA Fans clearly finding Rivers’ voice amusing, they didn’t shy away from addressing the elephant in the room: the trade rumors of Antetokounmpo. While some aren’t truly hateful of Rivers’ trying to shut the rumors down, some were left disappointed as the drama continues.

NBA Fans at this point aren’t surprised by the Antetokounmpo trade rumors anymore, as it has always been the main topic in the past seasons. However, Fans couldn’t help but pity the Greek Freak as his team still lacks the key players and the drive to get him his second NBA title.
Moreover, NBA Fans also knew the pressure Rivers is having right now. Every season and opportunity he got in Milwaukee always ended in failure. And with the trade rumors at an all-time high, NBA Fans feel Rivers, or Antetokounmpo’s days in Milwaukee are counted.
NBA Fans poke fun at Antetokounmpo’s potential team
Despite NBA Fans clearly sensing the tension amidst the Antetokounmpo trade, some couldn’t help but throw fun, especially at one of the possible teams where Giannis could be at, the GS Warriors.
Of course, NBA Fans knew there must be in return for Giannis arriving at the Warriors, and user @SlimSleepr had the perfect idea, writing, “Yea, it might be time to put the Draymond packages away lol.” Meanwhile, user @NoahF31511 had another guy in mind, posting, “Warriors better just get kuminga off this damn team already.”
