Kevin Durant had NBA fans cracking jokes after opening up about his off‑court habits.
On Fred VanVleet’s Unguarded podcast, KD admitted he doesn’t always keep up with hygiene when he’s home. “If I’m just sitting in the house, I might wanna go musty for a couple of days,” he said.
That line set social media on fire.

@TheMetsX shot back, “Yeah no wonder this dude got no wife and no kids.”

@BeLikeDime added, “N**ga just annihilating his aura in real time.”
And @GoSockPuppets turned it into praise: “No shower. no women. No hairbrush. just hoops. We will never see a legend like this again.”
Durant, now 37, is still the Rockets’ centerpiece. He’s averaging 25.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.9 assists through 22 games this season.
“GIVE HIM THE DAMN BALL”: NBA fans throw criticism at Alperen Sengun after snubbing Kevin Durant for the game-winning shot
Durant’s name popped up again Thursday night — this time for being ignored. With the Rockets tied at 119 against the Pelicans in the final seconds, Alperen Sengun drove to the rim instead of passing to KD, wide open on the wing. The layup missed. New Orleans took over in overtime and won 133-128.

Fans were livid.
@saaidNBA wrote, “This the second time Sengun did some stupid shit when all he had to do was let KD cook. First against Denver & now this. GIVE HIM THE DAMN BALL, someone translate that to Sengun in Turkish.”

First against Denver & now this. I can see why KD is frustrated! GIVE HIM THE DAMN BALL, someone translate that to Sengun in Turkish…

@ygernesto added, “Sengun shooting 11/26 ignoring the best shooter on the team should be the headline.”
And @plvyboiq kept it short: “Just give the ball to kd.”
Durant still delivered — 32 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and a perfect first half. Sengun’s 28 and 11 double‑double? Overshadowed by one missed chance to trust the vet.
