NBA fans are trolling LeBron James for his recent stats in the Suns matchup, where the legend just managed ten points. James has been riding a double-digit score for quite some time now and for a scary period of time, it seemed like the veteran would break his streak.

Fortunately for James, the Lakers themselves are eager for him to continue his streak and ensured that he played until he chalked up a tenner on the board and then subbed him. While many fans are happy that James is keeping it going, there were numerous who mocked the ageing player for his stats.

“LeBron’s double-figure streak lives on!” NBA Central tweeted.

“Nasty stat pad” one fan joked.

“He was in the game just to get this lets be real” another fan echoed the sentiments of many.

“This is why he’ll never be the goat…buddy took 5 shots the majority of the game. Once he realizes they lost, he pads to get his 10 points then gets subbed out. This culture is so toxic for what the game stands for. He won’t even consider this loss a true loss either.” One more fan added.

NBA Fans Also Back LeBron James For Stat Padding

While many NBA fans are trolling LeBron James for ensuring that his stats are golden even when the Lakers’ ship is going down, there are numerous others who felt that he has reserved the right to do so.

“B**ches in here crying because LeBron did a lil stat padding. Like your favorites didn’t also stat pad. MJ did it, Kobe did it, melo did it, and the list goes on. Only LeBron hater want to be mad at something so meaningless.” One fan supported LeBron James.

“Congrats to LeBron on 1,300 straight games of refusing to have a quiet night, even in garbage time” another fan said.

“I love you LeBron” one more fan shared their adoration for King James, while also sharing their betting earnings because of him.

LeBron James has been accused of stat-padding for many years now, and the legend has kept at it even when it looked like his team would be losing. Even in this particular matchup, it was clear that the Lakers would lose to the Suns pretty soon, but James pushed on to ensure that his double-streak lives and then subbed out. While this may be great for James, it hardly makes a difference for the Lakers, which has angered many LA fans.
