NBA fans are showing their creativity in coming up with jokes about Shakur Stevenson and Teofimo Lopez literally facing off at Madison Square Garden as a teaser for their upcoming fight.

The two boxers can be seen looking into the others’ faces for more than just a few seconds in the middle of the court. While boxing fans clearly understand this part of the game, NBA fans who were sitting in the stands obviously found this hilariously ridiculous.

“(boxing glove emoji, double exclamation emoji) Shakur Stevenson and Teofimo Lopez FACE OFF at MSG before their big fight this Saturday (double exclamation emoji, flushed face emoji)” Hassanwellss tweeted, sharing the viral clip of the two boxers looking at each other closely for quite some time.

“People in the crowd are like why these 2 dudes gazing into each others’ eyes?” one fan jokingly asked.

“People in the crowd probably think they’re getting married or something,” another fan trolled.

“This looks mad corny for some reason but I can’t wait for the fight (crying emoji x3)” one more fan added.

NBA Fans Make Predictions On Who Will Win Between Shakur Stevenson And Teofimo Lopez

Meanwhile, many NBA fans actually seem interested in the upcoming fight between Shakur Stevenson and Teofimo Lopez and are making predictions as to who will win. Many are leaning toward Teofimo, expecting him to emerge as a winner in the matchup, while others are hyping up Shakur to win.

“Please don’t hurt him too bad Shakur,” one fan said.

“Shakur gonna cook him,” another fan echoed.

“AHHH SHAKUR IS GONNA ERADICATE TEOOOO (exclamation point emoji x2, starry-eyed emoji) GOD BLESS U ALL BTW,” one fan sweetly stated.

Shakur Stevenson and Teofimo Lopez faced off during the recent Knicks matchup against the Raptors. NY easily won the showdown with Mikal Bridges leading the team on the board with thirty, while OG Anunoby added another twenty-six next to his name.

On another note, it looks like the upcoming matchup between Shakur Stevenson and Teofimo Lopez has attracted plenty of attention. Even many baller fans have been showing their enthusiasm, especially since many hoopers themselves, like Karl Anthony-Towns, have been vocal about their love for boxing.
