Isaiah Stewart has fallen victim to jokes and memes among NBA fans after a massive brawl broke out during their game against the Charlotte Hornets on Monday.
As the game intensified in the third quarter, a hard foul by the Hornets forward Moussa Diabate on Detroit Pistons big man Jalen Duren became the precursor of the brawl. What started out as a standard post-whistle exchange of words quickly turned to a bench-clearing brawl, leading to multiple ejections, including Stewart, who took on Miles Bridges during the scuffle.
Shortly after the brawl, NBA fans were treated to some parody from NBA Memes, who posted a photo of Stewart and his family in their farm and captioned, “The calmest and most peaceful man in the NBA.”
NBA fans quickly jumped on the bandwagon and laughed at the jokes while crafting some.

@MalcolmXrp_ said, “Bro …. why he dressed like a slave.”
@400Dr3 added, “How the hell is he that reckless and got a sweet white girl.”
And @dcardwellmuse made a bit of a warning for Stewart’s son, saying, “Imagine your dad is about to discipline you and it’s Isaiah Stewart. Pack it up, young man.”

Stewart’s ejection from the game meant he only produced two points in 11 minutes before leaving the court. Analysts predict additional sanctions handed down by the league officials once a review is completed on Stewart’s actions.
For what it’s worth, despite the brawl, the Pistons managed to win 110-104 away from home and keep top spot in the East with just a game remaining before the All-Star break.
“Bro didn’t even remove the ice packs off his knees”: NBA fans laud Isaiah Stewart for defending his teammates amid ejection
Though a lot of people were laughing at Isaiah Stewart after the brawl, there were NBA fans who admired him his actions in defending his teammates during the heated clash against the Charlotte Hornets.
After getting ejected for fighting, Stewart explained why he was more than willing to scrap for his teammates.

“You’re not expecting me to stay on the bench,” said Stewart. “The f**k I was drafted to Detroit for?”
That response hit home for a lot of Pistons fans.
@lakeshowdio joked, “Bro didn’t even remove the ice packs off his knees.”
@AndreWGMI added, “isaiah stewart treating every game like its his last thats why detroit loves him.”
And @DrewMor22 offered a more measured take: “Bench or not, sticking up for teammates is part of the culture. Just gotta be smart about it.”
Stewart may walk away from the night with an ejection — and plenty of memes — but his message was clear. Whether it’s scoring, defending, or stepping into the middle of chaos, he’s going to have his teammates’ backs, no matter the situation.
