NBA fans are having hilarious theories as to why Kyrie Irving will not return for this season for the Mavs. As per Tim MacMahon, Irving is nowhere close to returning this season after his calf injury. Apparently, the player is aiming to get completely healthy before making an official return.

According to MacMahon, the team will discuss with Irving and his agent, who is also his stepmom, as to whether it would be wise for the player to come back this season or wait until the current campaign is over.

“Kyrie Irving is reportedly making great progress on the court, but his return this season is in question because of ‘other reasons’, per @BannedMacMahon” NBA Central tweeted.

“Reports saying Kyrie is not ready to come back ‘spiritually’” one fan said.

“We need to appreciate this man. Absolutely unstoppable. Ankles have been waiting for my guy to retire.” Another fan pointed out.

“Bro’s about to miss half the season because he wandered off to debate gravity with a sage stick and a vision board. (crying emoji, laughing with tears emoji)” another fan joked, referring to Kyrie Irving’s flat-earth beliefs.

NBA Fans Feel Kyrie Irving Won’t Return Because Of Poor Mavs Record

Meanwhile, some other NBA fans are theorizing that Kyrie Irving might not want to make a comeback to the Mavs this season all because of the team’s ridiculous record right now. The Mavs are currently third-last in the West and are not showing any signs of improving.

“Other reasons: Doesn’t want to play for a dysfunctional disaster?” one fan noted.

“He doesn’t wanna rush it to play for this trash team (crying emoji)” another fan said.

“Like the Mavs trying to tank? (laughing with tears emoji)” yet another fan pointed out.

Not just Kyrie Irving, but the entire Mavs roster seems like they want to leave the team. The only player who is the saving grace for the team is rookie Cooper Flagg who is the sole performer as of now.

In this ongoing basketball campaign, the Mavs have been going through plenty of drama when compared to other teams. The team even let go of their GM, Nico Harrison, a few days back, because of a series of blunders on the manager’s part. However, it looks like the team needs a complete reset before they even attempt to improve their record this season.
