“All That Money To Get Disrespected By Wife”: NBA Fans Got Mixed Reactions As Steph Curry Tops League’s Top Earners List In 2025

NBA fans are once again debating Stephen Curry’s status — not for his jump shot, but for his bank account. According to @TheDunkCentral, “Steph Curry is the top earner in the NBA this year,” placing the Golden State Warriors star at the top of the 2025 salary list.

While most NBA fans acknowledged that Curry deserves every dollar of his massive paycheck, others couldn’t resist mixing personal life drama into the conversation. We were all thinking it but @genzo931 had to say it,

“All that money to get disrespected by wife,” referencing past controversies involving Ayesha Curry that have repeatedly resurfaced online.

The post quickly drew thousands of replies. Some NBA fans took the lighthearted jab further, while others defended Curry’s legacy both on and off the court.

“Steph should be the highest earner as he turned GSW into a multi-billion dollar franchise and completely revolutionized that team from start to finish,” wrote @ColdWarGoat, echoing the majority sentiment among long-time supporters.

At 37, Steph Curry continues to be the face of the Warriors and a defining figure in modern basketball. His consistency, professionalism, and influence on the game’s evolution have made him one of the few players who justify such a high salary purely through impact.

Still, the internet being the internet, personal jokes often find their way into serious sports discussions — and NBA fans are experts at that balance between admiration and mockery.

NBA Fans Celebrate Steph Curry’s Season Start With Cold-Blooded Highlights

Even before talk about contracts took over social media, NBA fans were already celebrating Steph Curry’s return to form. In one viral post, @barstoolsports shared a highlight clip captioned,

His precision from deep and calm demeanor in crunch time once again drew poetic reactions online.

“Dreams end where Curry begins,” posted @KLUB28,

    while @NoBanksNearby added,

    “Curry’s lullabies hit different.”

For NBA fans, that kind of dominance is what makes Curry worth every dollar. He isn’t just a scorer — he’s a rhythm-breaker, a mood-setter, and a nightmare for defenders who think they’ve got him figured out.

Every season, discussions about his age or salary seem to fade the moment he steps on the floor. The same effortless form, the same crowd-silencing threes — it’s the Steph Curry experience that NBA fans have grown used to, and yet, never get tired of watching.

In a league full of new stars, Curry’s ability to control the narrative through performance alone continues to separate him. Whether it’s his paycheck or his highlights, NBA fans know one thing: Steph doesn’t just play the game, he sets its tone.
