NBA fans are reacting to Stephen A. Smith pushing the narrative that he’s strongly considering running for president in 2028. Smith has been tossing these rumors around for quite some time now, especially after Donald Trump came to office last year.

While fans originally thought that the veteran sportscaster was joking, it looks like Smith is pretty serious when he said so. In a recent appearance on the PBD podcast, Smith doubled down on his previous statements about running for office in the next campaign, prompting many fans to brutally troll him.

“(police cars revolving light emoji) Stephen A. Smith says he’ll consider running for president in 2028 (USA flag emoji, crying emoji)” LakeShowYo tweeted, sharing a clip from the PBD podcast.

“SAS can’t even win a Bron argument, let alone a political debate.” one fan joked.

“If Trump can be the president anybody can,” another fan called out.

“Nobody gonna be voting for him,” one more fan predicted.

It looks like most fans are still in disbelief that Stephen A. Smith would even consider running for president in the upcoming election campaign. At the same time, it looks like many are taking the opportunity to troll the sportscaster for his dreams, which are hopeless according to several fans.

NBA Fans Continue To Troll Stephen A. Smith For Presidential Dreams

NBA fans are continuing to react to Stephen A. Smith reaffirming that he would strongly consider running for president in the next elections. More and more fans have been comparing his desires to mere wishful thinking, refusing to take the man seriously.

“And I’m considering marrying Anne Hathaway,” one fan announced.

“Bro think he Kanye (laughing with tears emoji x3)” another fan said.

“I’m considering becoming a billionaire in 2028 idk yet,” one more fan trolled.

While Stephen A. Smith is certainly a pretty popular figure, the sportscaster is still shy of plenty of popularity needed to win the seat. Smith definitely lost plenty of fan following after he called out LeBron James repeatedly throughout the last year, especially for bringing Bronny James to the league.

James himself took it on himself to confront Smith at a game and asked him to stay out of his family’s business. For this alone, Smith has been brutally trolled by many, especially devout fans of King James.
