NBA fans are clapping back at Anthony Davis for wearing a Packers jersey to a Mavs game. While the act may look pretty innocent on the outside, sports fans know only too well about the crazy rivalry between the Cowboys and the Packers, and of course, the Mavs support Dallas in the league.
Davis’ decision to wear the Packers jersey was definitely not liked by many and fans have been calling out the player on social media massively. The injured baller’s decision comes at a time when there are rumors that Davis wants out of the Mavs and will be putting in a trade request soon.

“What a poor move. Don’t wear the jersey of the team that eliminated the DALLAS COWBOYS in brutal fashion twice in the playoffs. Trade this man god” one fan angrily commented.
“LOOOOL (rolling on the floor laughing emoji) AD knew what he was doing. You guys can call it even now for Nico almost ending his career.” another fan said.
“Yeah, it’s just disrespectful to your local fan base who is already jaded by his fragility. He can wear whatever he wants, but don’t expect Dallas fans to support him.” yet another fan reacted.
NBA Fans Bring Up The Fact That AD Has Always Been A Packers Fan
Meanwhile, many other NBA fans felt that Anthony Davis had all the rights to wear a Green Bay jersey if he wanted to, especially since the player has always been open about being a Packers fan.

“He’s always been a Packers fan. Nothing to do with Micah.” Another fan said, referring to Micah Parsons being traded from the Cowboys to the Packers this offseason.
At this point, whatever Anthony Davis is undoubtedly going to be exaggerated, mainly since Mavs fans are tired of his poor numbers ever since he got to the team. Davis has also not shown the same energy in Dallas as opposed to his former team, the Lakers, and has been on the bench a lot more time than the court, frustrating the fan base all the more.
