NBA Fans at the All-Star Weekend were shocked when LeBron James said something about Victor Wembanyama. At the Team USA Stripes vs Team World match, James, at the bench, shocked everyone when he seemingly to have said, “F*ck Wemby.” The moment immediately gained traction online, and Fans don’t like it.
User @MarcosWasTaken1 claimed that James’ cusses stemmed from Wemby’s previous statements about the King. They wrote, “Only talking because Wemby said he wouldn’t shed a single tear when he retires [laughing emoji].”

In reference, Wembanyama notably shared his feelings of James hanging up his jersey back in Valentines Day, where he also said, “It’s going to feel weird.”
While NBA Fans had different thoughts of James’ F-word statement, one thing’s clear. Fans wouldn’t turn a blind eye on what they see as LeBron’s arrogance on young stars like Wembanyama.

“He [James] has skipped all three games against the Spurs this season,” one user posted, implicitly claiming that James is trying not to face Wemby on the court.

Many NBA Fans have now accepted that James’ era has finally came to an end for seasons; however, LeBron proves that wrong by still playing as if he was a youngin at age 40. And while James’ accolades put him in GOAT conversations, Fans couldn’t help but disregard them all, pointing to James’ pride, as seen in his alleged words against Wembanyama.
NBA Fans claim James said different words on Wembanyama
On the other hand, the majority of NBA Fans don’t believe James really threw the F-word to Wembanyama. Instead, Fans claim that it was more of a taunt James is telling his teammates to do to Wemby.
User @ElDiosGalleta was one of these NBA Fans, writing, “Lies. He said ‘foul’ wemby.” Meanwhile, user @chrisssn21 decided to never argue and just gave his honest opinion. They wrote, “Looked like ‘foul Wemby’ but regardless, he was joking – man is having a good time. Who cares?”

Either way, NBA Fans wouldn’t allow themselves to just fall for the James hype easily, especially when it’s all for the wrong reasons. They are clear in their stances: James has no grudges towards Wemby, and his words are mere taunts as part of the All-Star fun.
