“Bro Heard ‘Wizards’ And Disappeared Like He Cast A Spell”: NBA Fans Shake Heads As Trae Young Leaves Hawks Game After Getting Traded To Wizards

NBA fans had plenty to say on Wednesday after Trae Young was traded from the Atlanta Hawks to the Washington Wizards in what many considered an inevitable move. Young became one of the hottest names on the market after returning from injury last month, with the Hawks openly signaling a shift away from the All-Star guard.

And with the trade resolved, the NBA Fans didn’t hold back in their insights. User @Invaderbader1 perfectly captured Young’s swift leave from the State Farm Arena, commenting, “Bro heard ‘Wizards’ and disappeared like he cast a spell.”

And arguably, with Young’s situation in Atlanta, they might actually be cooking with their catchy banters.

“He knows he was getting dumped by the Hawks when they were playing way better without him lol,” one user remarked.

“Literally could not wait [laugh emoji],” one user posted.

“SPRINTED out of that arena [laugh emoji],” one user commented.

Many NBA Fans who have watched Young’s final days with the Hawks knew all too well how his final games with them ended horribly. “Ice Trae” notably went sidelined in October after a sprained MCL, and his return led the team to a five-game losing streak. He didn’t play once more at the very end of December due to a quadriceps contusion, lasting until now.

Fast forward, NBA Fans will now see Young on a Wizards jersey in exchange for CJ McCollum and Corey Kispert. He is expected to bring the clutch formula that brought the Hawks all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2020-2021. However, given Washington’s horrible 10-26 standing this season, all Young can do is find his footing with them.

NBA Fans will soon see Young face his former team twice this season, both in February. The Wizards are 1-1 against the Hawks so far.

NBA Fans ruthlessly tease Zion Williamson after paternity claims

Meanwhile, Trae Young isn’t the only big topic amongst NBA Fans right now, as they have quickly caught up with the ongoing allegations that Zion Williamson fathered a child with an OnlyFans model. Fans quickly went to X/Twitter to throw some shade on the New Orleans Pelicans star.

One user, @Evol7n, even called out to Williamson’s taste in women, writing, “Sloppy, thick and a little aged is Mr Zion’s take.”

And they are not the only ones who think of the star that way, as seen in another user, @Baddiesinsports, even mentioned a movie, writing, “I bet you his favourite film growing up was A Bug’s Life, he must have been OBESSED with it growing up [laugh emoji].”

Williamson might be gaining scrutiny at this moment, but NBA Fans still never forget about his impact on the court. The Pelicans are still at the very bottom of the standings, and it could take just days before all fans finally call him a “bust.”
