NBA Fans knew well how veteran James Harden found his new home in Cleveland. Still, before that impactful trade, Fans were left speculating about the Atlanta Hawks as Harden’s potential home. However, this didn’t stop the Fans from poking fun at The Beard.

User @IndySports pulled no punches, claiming Harden could’ve eyed on Atlanta due to its specific spots, writing, “James wants the ATL strip clubs lmao.”

User @goatbron23_ agrees with this, commenting, “we know why he wants to go there and it’s not for basketball.”

Without needing to be explicit, NBA Fans instantly realized that Harden might’ve loved the city for a second time due to its spicy vibes.

“He wants to go to onyx,” one user wrote, referring to a famous adult club in Atlanta.

“He wants to be with his gf Lil Baby,” one user remarked.

“He cares about money and throwing it at b*t*h*s in the club. He knows Atlanta has some good strip clubs,” one user boldly wrote.

While many NBA Fans claimed that Harden only wanted Atlanta due to it being rich in daring clubs, Fans, even before the big reveal on Tuesday night, knew the city wasn’t fit for the veteran.

User @moseswade9 believed that the Hawks, after trading Trae Young, has nothing to offer anymore, writing, “What will Atlanta offer.”

On the other hand, user @ojhayford believes Harden should focus on a win-now team, remarking, “Man needs another ring and from all his suitors Cavs seems the best bet for that in near future.”

The statement soon aged well, as the Cavaliers had taken Harden in exchange for Darius Garland and a future second-round pick.

NBA Fans disagree with Harden being on Atlanta

While NBA Fans now know where Harden is at, they were brutally honest when they meant Atlanta wasn’t the perfect fit for Harden. Fans knew how the Hawks are still reeling over a massive trade in the previous days.

User @earle_leighton believed the Hawks are just repeating the past if they acquired Harden, writing, “they got rid of Trae Young for older Trae Young.” User @illBetOnThat had the same insight, posting, “They just got off of a younger version of you brother [laughing emoji].”

Many NBA Fans at Atlanta sighed in relief after the Hawks didn’t welcome Harden to the squad. Fans aren’t strangers unto how Harden requested a trade out of his old team, the LA Clippers, since that team didn’t accept his offer for a higher pay.

As The Beard lands at Atlanta, NBA Fans were left debating if the veteran will finally seek a title, or will just play to get more money.
