Tyrese Haliburton remains on the sidelines for the Indiana Pacers, but NBA fans can’t seem to dig his bench fit.
After the Pacers cruised past the Miami Heat 123–99 on Saturday, the team posted a photo of Haliburton celebrating from the sidelines. He was rocking a brown leather jacket layered over a white polo, paired with a brown necktie, jeans, and leather shoes — a look that immediately split NBA Twitter.
Haliburton may have just been minding his own business, but fans couldn’t resist firing off jokes.
@SteezType cracked, “Dress like a substitute teacher.”

@bajab2b was even harsher, saying, “Corny ass always wearing some weird s**t that’s how I know money don’t buy taste.”
And @Levariousx piled on with, “Quite possibly the whitest outfit I’ve seen.”

Fashion critiques aside, Indiana still walked away with a dominant win over Miami — a much-needed morale boost for a Pacers team currently sitting at the bottom of the Eastern Conference.
“He was looking kinda jacked”: NBA fans react to Tyrese Haliburton’s bulked-up frame
Before the matchup with Miami, the Pacers shared a short clip of Haliburton in his training gear and asked him who he liked to win this year’s NCAA championship. His answer was simple and on-brand.
“I’m all in on the Hoosiers, man.”

But fans weren’t focused on his bracket picks. Instead, they noticed how different Haliburton looked physically as he continues rehabbing his injury.
@JJ__indy said, “I said he was looking kinda jacked and was ridiculed in my replies.”

@NewSlayer2 added, “Yo he looking massive.”
And @realcrimson69 summed it up bluntly: “Denying the fat allegations.”
Haliburton has been out since suffering a ruptured Achilles in Game 7 of the NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder, a series that ended with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and OKC lifting the trophy. For now, he’s stuck on the bench — but between the fits and the physique, fans are clearly still keeping a close eye on him.
