NBA fans are pretty vocal about their expressions as they hold nothing back, even if it is someone like Devin Booker. The Suns are trying to win as many games as possible, and Booker remains a vital part of the team.
Recently, the guard debuted the Nike Book 2, which is his second signature shoe. Booker sported the shoe against the Trail Blazers, but not all fans were impressed. Several NBA fans took to social media to drop their reactions.
Some fans trolled the NBA star for the shoes, while others appreciated them. Here are some reactions from X.

“Looks like budget Kyries from back in the day ngl,” one fan wrote.

“Look like sketchers shoes I see at Ross,” another fan chimed in.
“Shits looking more and more like some walk in the mall ass shoes,” another fan replied.
Devin Booker’s first iteration on the Book 1 was back in February last year. The Suns guard wore several different models of the shoe.
NBA Fans Continued To Drop Wild Reactions On Devin Booker’s Nike Book 2
Fans couldn’t hold back as they continued to drop wild reactions on Devin Booker’s Nike Book 2. Some compared Booker’s first shoe to the second one, while some compared it to LeBron James’ shoes.

“The first shoe wasn’t great and this one is worse, do Nike not like him or sum,” one fan wrote.

“I thought LeBron made the worst shoes. These take the cake,” another fan wrote.
“Nigga ain’t put a single shot through the net with these weak ass shoes,” another fan chimed in.
The lead designer of the Nike Book 2, Ben Nethongkome, offered his insight on the shoe. He stated that the approach for Book 2 was also based on Devin Booker’s desired feel with lightweight.
“For the Book 1, we were inspired by classic cars, where the engine is supercharged and tuned up but the outside looks classic. That approach cascaded to the Book 2, cloaking the innovation underneath. We lowered the profile of the shoe for enhanced court feel, and because we removed materials to get lower to the ground, we were able to move the Air Zoom unit from the heel to the forefoot — achieving Devin’s desired feel and performance at a lighter weight,” Nethongkome said.
NBA fans had a good laugh with the design, and they never hesitated to express their thoughts.
