NBA fans are wildly reacting to Bad Bunny’s incredible shoutout to Luka Doncic during his halftime performance at the Super Bowl. The Puerto Rican rapper not just hailed the Slovenian as the “most talented player in the league” but also took a dig at LeBron James.
The rapper definitely did so in Spanish but fans were quick to catch this among the many Easter eggs that Bad Bunny had planted throughout his performance. It looks like many are actually siding with the rapper on his thoughts on Luka Doncic.
“Bad Bunny shouted out Luka Doncic in his Super-Bowl halftime performance: ‘Luka Dončić es el MVP y el jugador con más talento de la liga’ – This translates to: luka is the mvp and the most talented player in the league (flushed face emoji, collision symbol emoji)” lukalexicon tweeted.

“I am a Spanish speaker and it’s true he did say this,” one fan said.
“I did actually hear that,” one more fan said.
“this is why I love BAD BUNNY more than ever, giving props to my guy @lukadoncic VAMOS!” another fan praised the Puerto Rican rapper.
Bad Bunny’s performance at the Super Bowl is definitely a head-turner and has brought out plenty of backlash as well as appreciation from fans. Despite the Seahawks winning in brilliant fashion, Bad Bunny’s show is all anyone can talk about, especially because of all the amazing Easter eggs that the rapper inserted into his show.
NBA Fans Feel That Bad Bunny Did Not Actually Say This About Luka Doncic
At the same time, many NBA fans actually don’t believe that Bad Bunny would have said something like this about Luka Doncic during his performance and called the tweet fake. Some fans felt that Doncic obviously did not deserve this type of accolade from the Puerto Rican rapper or anyone else for that matter.

“Lmaoo I mean that’s a fact but he didn’t say it. He does mention Luka in a other couple of his songs tho,” one fan remarked.
“Losers like losers,” another fan trolled.
“Did he really say that? Anyone have the clip?” one more fan questioned.
Luka Doncic was not the only hooper that Bad Bunny name-dropped during his performance. The rapper also called out LeBron James by bringing up JJ Barea, who won the championship back in 2011.
