NBA Fans found themselves amused after the physicality from the OKC Thunder’s Kenrich Williams sent the SA Spurs’ big man Victor Wembanyama trying to draw a foul. And at that moment, Fans just saw that even a shorter Williams can stop the 7’4 Wembanyama on the court.
And of course, NBA Fans on X/Twitter couldn’t help but aim barbs at Wembanyama. User @Hcp1Hcp saw The Alien’s attempt as futile, writing, “Wemby got dominated by a guy who is a foot shorter. Had to take the flop. Had to!” On the other hand, user @LindorNahu62001 commented, “Kenrich Williams half his height and he just folded like a piece of paper.”

And the Wemby shade didn’t stop there. In fact, NBA Fans didn’t hold back, bringing up how the French star once dissed the Thunder for their “foul-baiting” antics, while he called himself a player of “ethical” ball.
“The ethical flopper got found out tonight. Some people are built for these moments,” one user commented.
“Pure and ethical basketball,” one user sarcastically joked.
“this didn’t age well for ‘mr ethical,'” one user remarked.
And this time? NBA Fans are victorious at their jokes. After all, the Thunder completely destroyed the Spurs, 119-98, locking Wembanyama down with 17 points, seven rebounds, and just one block in 28 minutes. And for the updated NBA Fans, the victory was also the Thunder’s brutal response to the Spurs’ 2-0 record against them in the previous months.
However, NBA Fans also know all too well that Oklahoma, already notorious for its flopping antics, will do anything to stop its San Antonio rivals. Fans will see the final Spurs vs Thunder match on February 5.

NBA Fans suspicious of Thunder’s defense on Wembanyama
Despite the NBA Fans clearly making digs on Wembanayama’s “flopping,” Fans didn’t let go of Williams’ defense. Some users also pointed out how Williams played dirty, unnoticed, leading to Wemby drawing a foul.
One user, @josh_ugartee,wrote, “Man [Wembanyama] had his whole jersey untucked but sure.”
User @SonicsFan420 alsocommented, “That bum was undressing him on the court tf are you talking about [cry emoji].”

However, user @eurosooner77 moved past the incident and showed concerns about Wembanyama’s on-court attitude, posting, “what a joke. Wimpy also walked off the court without shaking hands. Pretty arrogant for winning nothing in the NBA.”
With the NBA Fans expecting one final match between the Thunder and the Spurs this season, the heated rivalry between these two remains as well.
