San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama had NBA fans buzzing after his clash with Oklahoma City Thunder’s Alex Caruso in their 111-109 win, which punched the Spurs’ ticket to the NBA Cup final against the New York Knicks.
During Saturday’s game, Wembanyama rose over the smaller Caruso to sink a jumper, letting a few words fly as he sprinted back down the court.

“Little b**ch,” he said.

NBA Fans loved the Frenchman’s confidence and quickly piled on Caruso.
“wemby said that with a french accent tho,” @1Kaiweb3 joked.
@samcanpapi suspected there was more than just those two words: “Nah, I’m sure he was cursing in french.”
And @GiannisOwnsYou3 questioned the Thunder’s approach: “Idk what Alex was thinking.”
Even on limited minutes, Wembanyama’s production was enough to guide San Antonio past the Thunder. He’s still working his way back after missing 12 games due to injury, but his performance proved crucial.

@Mahoneyjr chimed in with his own admiration: “I love how Wemby is leaking out arson in a gentle manner. Cold MFer.”
Some looked at the bigger picture, seeing a player who could reshape the league.
“Dude is positioning himself to be the face of doing things the right way – and it’s gonna work. I wish him well. Hopefully he can be the change the league desperately needs,” said @fullcheli.

Even in limited minutes and after missing nearly a month, Wembanyama put up 22 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists, showing why he’s becoming one of the NBA’s most compelling young stars — tough on the court, smart off it, and already earning fans’ respect for his poise, skill, and candid commentary.
