NBA fans found themselves thinking about a question that’s hard to ignore once it’s asked.
Stirring up conversation online, Hoops on X asked fans what the first thing they’d do if they woke up in LeBron James’ body.
The replies didn’t disappoint.
@JoshUntucked replied, “Nah bruh I wanna wake up in Savannah’s body.”

@Glitchymagic joked, “Check my hairline. Seriously.”
While @PGHHobo412 went the practical route, saying, “Head to his bank and withdraw.”

The question itself says a lot about LeBron’s status. His legacy is already secure, and if someone actually did wake up in his body, enjoying the life he’s built would probably come naturally.
With four NBA championships, four NBA Finals MVPs, four league MVP awards, and three Olympic gold medals, LeBron has set himself and his family up for life. At this point, the accolades almost feel secondary to the impact he’s had on the league.
“This will always be Bron’s city”: NBA fans pushed back on Donovan Mitchell replacing LeBron James as the Cavs’ favorite son
Wednesday night brought LeBron back to Cleveland, where the Cleveland Cavaliers welcomed their longtime star — then handed his team a rough night.
The Los Angeles Lakers fell 129–99, and after the game, Cavs guard Donovan Mitchell was asked about LeBron’s impact on the city.

Before Mitchell could respond, teammate Jaylon Tyson grabbed the mic and declared, “THIS IS DONOVAN MITCHELL’S CITY NOW!”
That comment didn’t land well with fans.
@IamDuder said, “Better win a chip… This will always be Bron’s city.”
@mybad5141 added, “Crazy how he doesn’t have to win anything to get anointed. Those standards get real low when it’s not LeBron.”
@ObservationPapi dragged the team into it, saying, “Half way through the season and 29-20 saying this.”
Mitchell may not fully own Cleveland yet, but he owned the Lakers on the court, finishing with 25 points, five rebounds, and five assists. Even so, for many fans, the city still belongs to LeBron — no matter who’s wearing the jersey now.
