NBA fans are having hilarious reactions to rumors that the Houston Rockets might be eager to trade in Kyrie Irving from the Mavericks. The Rockets are apparently struggling to improve their guard position, for which Irving might be a superb option.
According to many fans, if Irving does leave to the Rockets, it will drastically improve Houston’s record in the league. Meanwhile, the Mavs are struggling badly this season and will try to hold on to Irving for as long as they can.
“REPORT: The Houston Rockets are ‘heavily’ monitoring Kyrie Irving’s situation in Dallas as they seek help at the Guard position, per @Maverick_SZN” XPJHX1 tweeted.
“Trade Kyrie and they would burn down the AAC” one fan commented.
“Kyrie to Houston would be wild, instant scoring upgrade if the chemistry holds” another fan tweeted.
“Ooh. I would cheer for that team. Mavs are dead to me” yet another fan remarked.
If the Mavs do trade Kyrie Irving to the Rockets, this might definitely ramp up Houston’s performance. At the same time, there are many fans who feel that bringing in an older player like Irving may end up damaging the Rockets in the long run, since he may be prone to more injuries than younger players.
NBA Fans Are Also Voting Against Trading Kyrie Irving To Rockets
At the same time, many NBA fans feel that Kyrie Irving going to the Houston Rockets will not help the team at all, and will end up hurting both the Mavs and Houston. Many fans also felt that the rumors are definitely not true in any sense, since Nico Harrison would not want to commit another blunder like he did with the Doncic-Davis trade.

“unless rockets give up sengun I can’t see it happening. I see AD going to the rockets more then kyrie” one more fan predicted.

Even if the Houston Rockets might offer big bags to the Mavs to bring in Kyrie Irving, GM Nico Harrison would not be eager to do so too quickly. Harrison is still being massively called out by angry fans for letting go of Luka Doncic in favor of Anthony Davis. While Davis has been struggling with the Mavs, Doncic has been on fire with the Lakers ever since the trade.
