NBA Fans woke up confused, impressed, and loud after the Warriors stunned the Cavs, and the main name all over timelines wasn’t who anyone expected. It was Pat Spencer. Yes, that Pat Spencer.

The unexpected breakout turned into a full discussion once Steve Kerr spoke after the game.

@UnderdogNBA shared Kerr’s quote from the post-game presser: “His coach realized that Pat is that motherfu**er… that became clear.”

That line alone lit up NBA Fans who were already stunned by what they had just seen.

Spencer, whose athletic background has long been talked about for reasons outside normal NBA paths, looked completely at home torching Cleveland.

@RioStaysTrue summed up the shock in one line: “Not even bros main sport and he just fried the Cavs .. actually insane.”

NBA Fans leaned hard into the irony. A close game against a playoff-caliber opponent turned into a Pat Spencer showcase, and suddenly the Warriors’ rotation debates flipped overnight.

@boodizzlee didn’t hold back, saying, “Podz is a goner and I have never been happier [pleading face emoji].”

It isn’t just about Spencer scoring or making plays. NBA Fans are reacting to the idea that the Warriors found energy from someone who wasn’t even on the main map weeks ago. In a season full of uneven nights, that kind of surprise sticks.

Kerr’s words mattered because they confirmed what NBA Fans were already thinking. This wasn’t a fluke appearance or a charity run. Spencer took control when things tightened up, and the team rode with it.

When NBA Fans feel like they witnessed something unexpected but real, they don’t let it go quietly. This one isn’t fading anytime soon.

NBA Fans Call Cavs Win Warriors’ Best Night As Pat Spencer Steals the Show

The final score said Warriors 99, Cavs 94. NBA Fans saw much more than numbers.

Golden State made it official with a simple post. @warriors dropped, “WHAT. A. WIN.”

    WHAT. A. WIN. pic.twitter.com/wXAtaRfiTt

    — Golden State Warriors (@warriors) December 7, 2025

The poster showed the grind-it-out victory from Saturday, December 6, 2025, but NBA Fans were already ten steps ahead in the comments.

The praise quickly turned specific. @babyfacedubs declared, “BEST WIN OF THE SEASON. PAT SPENCER IS THE GOAT PUT HIM IN THE ROTATION.”

It wasn’t subtle, but that matched the mood. NBA Fans felt like the Warriors finally showed some backbone, and Spencer was at the center of it.

Another post gained traction when @Sudharsan_ak wrote, “Pat Spencer, thank you for saving Dubs basketball [fire emoji].”

The post included a game snap highlighting Spencer’s 19 points, a stat line that swung the conversation completely.

NBA Fans weren’t treating this like a random hot night. They framed it as a moment of urgency. With the game tight late, Spencer stayed aggressive, attacked gaps, and didn’t play like someone scared of the moment.

Context mattered too. This wasn’t a blowout or a quiet schedule game. It was a low-scoring fight where every bucket felt heavy. NBA Fans respect players who show up when things feel uncomfortable, and Spencer checked that box.

For NBA Fans, this win landed differently. It felt earned. It felt surprising. And it felt like maybe, just maybe, the Warriors found something real when they needed it most.
