NBA fans hae recently gone wild on social media, this time discussing the truth behind the “real” height of San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembenyama.
In a conversation on social media platform X, NBA fans shared their insights on the topic of Victor Wembanyama reportedly going through a growth spurt in a span of two seasons, with analysts and fans alike pointing out his unusual growth.

“Boban calling Wemby tall is like The Rock calling someone muscular,” one fan said.

“Adam Silver bout to call NASA for a second opinion,” another said, in response to satire news saying Wemby got tested over his growth.
Questions about Victor Wembanyama’s listed height intensified after Spurs roster updates and comments from fellow players and analysts suggested his true stature may be taller than his rookie listing, prompting renewed scrutiny of how the league records player measurements.
Boban Marjanovic said he had to look up at Wembanyama during a recent on‑court encounter, and analysts, including Brian Windhorst and Kevin O’Connor, argued the 7‑foot‑3 rookie listing understated the Spurs star’s size, with some suggesting he now measures 7‑5 or taller.
“He was listed at seven foot three as a rookie, but that was a lie,” Windhorst said. “He was not seven feet three inches tall; I believe he was seven feet five inches tall. He is now listed at seven-foot-five inches, Boban. I think he might be approaching seven-foot seven inches.”
O’Connor echoed the sentiment, and said that his experience with other tall players gave the impression that the Spurs stars have always been bigger than them.
“I’ve been saying this a long time. Wemby is 100% near 7’7”,” O’Connor said in his post on X. “I’ve been around Boban, Tacko Fall, these enormous players. Wemby is taller than them all.”

The discussion picked up further momentum after media figures joked about incremental increases in official listings and observers noted the practical impact of even small height adjustments on matchup dynamics and public perception of Wembanyama’s game.

NBA fans on social media made jokes over news of Spurs star Victor Wembenyama, with some even coampring him to fictional characters due to his immense size and wingspan.
