NBA Fans finally saw what San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama can do in his bald head version on Thursday. Still, surprisingly, it didn’t start well. After all, in the game against Milwaukee, Wemby was in serious pain after bumping knees with Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The moment made NBA Fans deeply question whether Wembanyama can really handle the physicality on the court. Asposted on X/Twitter by user @WiggsOfAndrew, “Wemby needs to hit the weight room asap [facepalm emoji],” believing that The Alien needs to develop his physique by a ton.
Meanwhile, NBA Fans like @TheMrLawgiver couldn’t help but aim barbs at Wemby’s physique,writing, “Dude is built like a giant folding chair [laughing emoji].” User @_markfenner also had the same sentiment,remarking, “I don’t even watch bball but bro always getting hurt it seems.”

User @mister_tiggy decided to brush the negativity aside,joking, “He knees a doctor after that one,” taking the matter lightly. However, user @WembyCentraldidn’t like how NBA Fans treat Wembanyama’s trip to the locker room as the end of the world: “He’s already back. He literally missed 5 minutes and these comments are talking like his career is over.”
Thankfully for NBA Fans, Wembanyama had the last laugh over the Bucks as he returned to the court in the second period. And while he’s at it, he used his “bald head” powers, which some NBA Fans joke are not effective, to destroy the Bucks, 119-101, putting the Spurs back on the win column. Wemby scored 22 points and ten rebounds in 27 minutes to make up.
And with Thursday’s victory, NBA Fans could just hope that Wemby’s new look, a thing he got when he was in China this offseason, will do everything against their opponents. They play Minnesota on Saturday.
NBA Fans didn’t like Greek Freak’s bump against Wembanyama
Despite NBA Fans applauding Wembanyama’s comeback against the Bucks, some couldn’t help but throw shade at Antetokounmpo for brutally colliding with him early in the game.
User @alexxx showed concern over the Bucks’ superstar’s antics, writing, “dirty play by giannis.” Meanwhile, @tradercamps didn’t hold back and commented, “Giannis plays with reckless abandon,” and telling Wembanyama to get ready in case a similar thing happens in the future.
