Sacramento Kings guard Zach LaVine found himself in the middle of an ugly moment with a season ticket holder, and NBA fans were quick to call him out after the incident went viral.
During the Kings’ 100-112 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, the game briefly stopped when a courtside fan yelled, “play some defense for once,” prompting LaVine to snap back with, “Go home, b*tch.” The fan was escorted out shortly after. With Sacramento dropping yet another home game, many fans online felt the ejected supporter had every right to be frustrated.

One fan wrote, “Dude is an entrepreneur… He’s in the fashion and sneaker community…. Homie been a kings fan forever and finally had enough.”
Another added, “Zach LaVine should keep his mouth shut to fans and start playing harder. Should have just said, yes sir, we’re trying. Yelling at fans isn’t helping him.”
A third said, “Typical Primadonna behavior from Zach LaVine. Was told to play defense which is his job as a basketball player and he got so mad he had the fan kicked out smh. The Kings organization owes that man an apology and LaVine needs to be fined. This is ridiculous.”

Sacramento’s loss dropped them to 5-14, and LaVine’s night didn’t help much — 13 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists in 32 minutes.
“Send him to the G league”: NBA fans target Zach LaVine for poor Sacramento run
The frustration didn’t stop at the courtside exchange. After another tough loss, LaVine was asked about the mood inside the locker room and how the team plans to pull themselves out of this early-season hole.

“We’re frustrated for not winning,” said LaVine. “The guys are frustrated that they are not playing right… We’re all trying our heart out, though. That’s what we get paid for.”

While his answer made sense, NBA fans didn’t let up.
One fan said, “Send him to the G league. He’ll love it. Doesn’t have to play defense and can score 50 a game.”
Another wrote, “dude is A BUM. only a loser franchise would trade for this dude and the right to pay him $50m a year. Laughable!”
A third added, “you got your money Zach just retire or some.”
LaVine’s production hasn’t helped his case, averaging 20.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 0.7 steals. For many fans, those numbers aren’t cutting it — and the patience around Sacramento is wearing thin.
