    After a thrilling overtime victory against the Gonzaga Bulldogs, the Oregon State Beavers took to social media with a cheeky post that celebrated their unexpected triumph. The Beavers’ comeback, which included a remarkable 12-0 run to force extra time, left fans buzzing and showcased their resilience on the court.

    In a dramatic showdown, the Bulldogs faced the Beavers, ultimately succumbing to a 71-67 defeat in overtime. With just three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs held a commanding 12-point lead. However, Oregon State staged a remarkable comeback, finishing regulation with a 12-0 run that forced the game into overtime.

    Yvonne Ejim led the Bulldogs with an impressive 22 points, while freshman Allie Turner added 17. Despite their efforts, the Bulldogs struggled to find additional scoring options, as Ejim and Turner accounted for nearly 60% of the team’s total points. The Beavers capitalized on their opponents’ scoring woes, with Kelsey Rees shining brightly, contributing 21 points and nine rebounds, while Kennedie Shuler added 16 points.

    Beavers head coach, Scott Rueck, expressed immense pride in his team’s performance, emphasizing their hard work and resilience. Shuler played a pivotal role in the comeback, scoring crucial free throws and dishing out assists that kept the Beavers in contention. Her performance included a key stretch in overtime, where she helped secure a lead for her team in the final moments.
