Dennis Schroder recently praised Franz Wagner’s talent ahead of the FIBA EuroBasket tournament. The Sacramento Kings guard said the Orlando Magic swingman has the tools to be one of the best players in the NBA.

Speaking to the German media in an interview translated by Basketball Network, Schroder spoke highly of his national teammate ahead of the FIBA EuroBasket tournament.
“He (Wagner) had a stretch where he scored 30 to 35 points and won 11 games (for the Orlando Magic last season). So, this guy is built differently,” Schroder said about Wagner. “He should have already become an All-Star this year, but unfortunately got injured. He definitely would have made the All-NBA First Team.”

“His gameplay is amazing, but his character is even better,” he continued. “He’s a good guy, a cool guy… down to earth, doesn’t think he’s better than anyone else.”
Orlando Magic News: Franz Wagner leads Germany to tune-up victory against Slovenia
Germany won 103-89 against the Luka Doncic-led Slovenian national team last night, and Franz Wagner was the standout performer of the match.

The Orlando Magic forward guided Germany to the win by contributing 18 points on 7-for-10 shooting from the field in just 17 minutes. On the other hand, Doncic recorded 19 points and five rebounds for Slovenia in the losing effort.
The defending FIBA World Cup champions are in Group B alongside Lithuania, Great Britain, and Finland, and many expect Germany to make a deep run into the tournament.
