During the pre-game press conference of the Orlando Magic-Los Angeles Clippers match yesterday, Jamahl Mosley shared an update regarding Moe Wagner, who tore his ACL 11 months ago.

Mosley said that Wagner is in a much better place compared to before. However, the Orlando Magic center isn’t expected to be back on the court soon, despite his steady recovery.
“You know, Moe (Wagner) is able to get on the court a little bit more. A little bit more active. Not fully just bumping yet with pure contact but being able to move a little bit more,” Mosley told Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel.

“I think the next phase is probably getting to try to get some 1-on-1s at some point, getting contact against other bigger bodies. I think that may be the next phase for him,” he added.
Orlando Magic News: Moe Wagner opens up on recovery progress
Despite being sidelined by a knee injury, Moe Wagner remains a major presence on the Orlando Magic’s bench. During a recent FanDuel Sports Network broadcast, the German international shared an update on his progress.

“It’s so much fun. It’s amazing,” Wagner said via Fansided’s Philip Rossman-Reich. “It’s going great, though. I’m making major steps. I have a positive attitude towards it. I miss playing, but I’ve embraced this process, trying to make improvements in my daily life and make the most out of it.”
Wagner managed to play only 30 games last season, averaging 12.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.4 assists on 56.2 percent shooting from the field in 18.8 minutes per contest.
