The whispers are over, Paige Bueckers and Azi Fudd made the public know they have been together in the past weeks. Fans had long connected the dots, but now, there’s no more guessing. However, Nika Muhl might’ve known a relationship between the two existed long ago.
When asked by her friends on Wednesday if she knew about Bueckers and Fudd being a couple, Muhl didn’t flinch:
“I’m so good at keeping secrets. That’s all I’m gonna say,” she said.
Paige Bueckers, Azi Fudd, and Nika Muhl lit it up together at UConn, three stars under Geno Aureimma’s system. Fudd joined a year after the two, but the chemistry clicked fast. They made deep playoff runs, year after year, although they always fell short of the national championship. Soon, Muhl declared for the WNBA Draft in 2024, leaving Bueckers and Fudd to run it back. This duo finished the run, winning the Trophy just months ago.
Paige Bueckers and Fudd were close friends and roommates at the Huskies, leading to fans speculating if they are indeed a thing. While both sides had denied the rumors multiple times, the time had come for they to finally reveal what was really going on. In late June, Fudd gave Instagram a little more than a shoutout to her hairstylist. At first glance, it seemed like a typical thank-you post—until eagle-eyed fans spotted her phone in the background, which read clearly: “Paige Bueckers’ girlfriend.”
Then came the WNBA All-Star Weekend. A reporter asked Paige for a “girlfriend reveal.” Her response? Simple and clear: “Azzi Fudd.”

Paige Bueckers’ girlfriend, Azzi Fudd, is stepping into the podcast world with “Fudd Around and Find Out,” launching August 7. Fans immediately began pushing for Bueckers to be the debut guest. But she made it clear—it’s not that simple.
“She might ask me. I might say yes. I might say no. We’ll see,” Bueckers said via a phone interview with CBS Sports.”I’m expecting her podcast to be great. I know she has a great co-host and should have some great guests. I’m happy for her.”
Next up? Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings face the Golden State Valkyries this Friday. On court, in the booth, or in the headlines—her relationship with Fudd is just getting started.
