Philadelphia 76ers star Paul George recently made an exposé about an NBA reporter whose name he kept anonymous. The nine-time NBA All-Star alleged that the reporter used to steal inappropriate glances on players in the locker room.
On his “Podcast P with Paul George,” the six-time All-NBA player discussed the NFL players demanding locker room privacy. Responding to some NFL players’ allegations that some reporters shamelessly checked out players’ private parts, George affirmed some truths to them, even citing a similar incident that happened in the NBA.
“There was an incident and there was even way back in my time being in the NBA where guys would talk about this situation, there was a reporter in Washington that would look at, stare at dudes’ meat while they’re on calls or while they’re changing,” recalled George.

Paul George also agreed that the locker room is a safe space for players and should be kept that way. He also said that some reporters who are allowed access to locker rooms that listen in on players talking to each other write stories about what they heard, more often than not blowing them out of proportion before publishing them in the media.
While the issue has been raised in the NFL, no player in the NBA has raised the same concern yet.
Paul George left the Clippers due to being ‘disrespected’
Paul George revealed in a July episode of his podcast his reason for leaving the Los Angeles Clippers. He spent five seasons with the team before moving to Philadelphia.
“L.A. is home. This is where I wanted to finish at, and I wanted to work as hard as possible to win one in L.A. That was the goal: to be here and be committed to L.A. As it played out, though, the first initial (offer) was, I thought, kind of disrespectful,” he said.

In his first year teaming up with Kawhi Leonard during the 2019-20 season, the Clippers were touted as one of the best teams in the NBA and the better Los Angeles team. In his next three seasons, the team remained arguably the deepest in the league, but they couldn’t take advantage of their momentum due to the injury bug and the pressure they fell under in the playoffs.
Then in June, Paul George decided to opt out of his player option in his $48.7 million contract with the Clippers, becoming a free agent in the process. A month later, he signed with the Sixers.
