People Are Making Wild Speculation About Kevin Durant’s 1st Missed Game for Rockets and Report Reason is Something Out of Nowhere

The Houston Rockets played inspired basketball on Monday when they beat the Phoenix Suns despite not having Kevin Durant. Amen Thompson led everyone with his 28 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists.

It is unknown whether KD will return the next game but if he does, he might become one of those NBA players who went on another gear after a personal milestone. That is if what a Suns reporter is saying is true.

The Rockets did not specify what made Durant miss the Suns game but they did say that it was for a family matter. This would have been his first game against his former team.

Now, a reporter is saying that the “family matter” has something to do with him welcoming his first ever child.

Here’s the audio of Gambo saying it on air today. https://t.co/ErDRqeEoFU pic.twitter.com/Ml845JaNb3

Getting word it’s true. Baby shower was planned in Phoenix and moved to Houston. KD’s ex is the mother.

As much as I can’t stand Gambo, he’s usually right about this stuff. https://t.co/ErDRqeEoFU

Kevin Durant can be a father but not a husband

NBA players becoming a father is a huge story, especially when it is a superstar. There are instances when these players elevate their passion and drive for the game whenever they welcome an offspring.

Take James Harden for example. The Netflix docu starred on revealed that he is a father already and now, he is tearing up the defenses as if he is back in his late 2010s era.

As for 37-year-old Durant, this news is wild as he has always been reticent about his romantic life. There’s not much on the internet about his girlfriend or wife.

The only time he openly talked about his love life is when he said that he is not ever going married. He said he does not like it because it usually leads to a divorce.

“I think divorce is actually more realistic, cause the divorce percentage is higher, right?”,” he said in an interview with Bobbi Althoff.

“That’s not good odds to me. That’s banking on forever though and you’re banking on that being 50/50? I don’t know if I want to take those odds,” he responded when told that the odds of divorce is 50/50.
