It is still known how strong the Philadelphia 76ers will be for next season as the availability of the Big 3 of Joel Embiid, Paul George, and Tyrese Maxey are still uncertain.

Embiid is still recovering and given how the last season turned out when he was unable to start the season, the medical team are being careful. Maxey and PG will probably be there in the opening.
Who’s going to be available for them? Not Kelly Oubre or Andre Drummond in case their recent movements get completed. An NBA insider revealed the team are shopping the two players who were part of their core last season.

“There has been buzz all summer long about the Sixers looking to potentially move one of, if not both, Andre Drummond and Kelly Oubre,” Bleacher Report Jake Fischer said in their Youtube channel.
Oubre started in 57 of the 60 games he played while Drummond was the main back-up at the center position with Embiid out most of the time.
Philadelphia 76ers need frontcourt players
This development goes against what most critics think of the team.
Sports Illustrated welcomed the idea of the Big 3 returning. Sixers can be contenders with them at full strength. However, they are only in mid-tier as the core of the team is lacking front court players.
“There’s no true power forward to place between Joel Embiid and Paul George when (if) both are on the floor together. Guerschon Yabusele, one of the lone bright spots of last season, left in free agency to sign with the New York Knicks.” SI wrote.

Guerschon Yabusele is gone to the Knicks after his breakout season with them in 2024-25. In case the Sixers fail to find replacement for him, Oubre, and Embiid, the season might be another waste.
