Detroit Pistons lost two in a row, both against teams who are not supposed to win against them. Is there something their fans should be worried about? Team star Cade Cunningham is not going to sleep over it.

Pistons dropped one against the Utah Jazz on a game-winning shot and then followed it up with a slow start and overall lackluster performance against the Los Angeles Clippers whose star Kawhi Leonard exploded for 55 points, his first ever 50-point game.
Cunningham recognized that they should have won those two. However, he assured that their spirit will remain at the top level moving forward.
“We’ve been at the bottom of the league before,” Cunningham said according to Omari Sankofa II of Detroit Free Press.

“We know what it feels like to lose game after game. We’re not going to lose our competitiveness, and we’re not going to lose our spirit over two games.
“It’s a long season, obviously, there’s a lot to learn from, we’re not happy with those two games, two games we should have won. But we’ll keep on going out there and fighting. At the end of the day, we believe in ourselves.”
Cade Cunningham’s struggle explained
Pistons coach JB Bickerstaff said in the immediate conference that his star player did not have significant in loss to Clippers because they did not allow him to operate freely.
Cunningham is taking responsibility for it instead of blaming the system. He said that he did not have some sense of urgency during the start of the game.
“The urgency was definitely different; we wanted to cut that lead down,” he explained.

“I was scoreless, that’s something that my team relies on me to bring, scoring.”
The team got the result they wanted after the adjustment as Cunningham scored 27 points in the second which was still the highest in the team. They even threatened to still the win before settling for a 99-112 defeat.
Next up for them are the Los Angeles Lakers at the Crypto.com Arena.
