Dallas Mavericks star PJ Washington got a defender in the form of his wife, Alisah Chanel, who recently threw a subtle shade towards the Mavs star’s ex, Brittany Renner.

In a story on Instagram, Alisah posted the lyrics to the song “Putting Ya Dine.” While she did not add any other details, fans concluded that it could be a shade towards her husband’s ex, Britanny Renner.
“You broke as hell and you at home, I’m shakin’ a*s all in yacht,” the lyrics read.
In a viral clip shared by Brittany Renner on social media, the “Basketball Wives” star is seen handing her son, P.J. Jr., over to his father, NBA forward P.J. Washington, for a scheduled visitation. As the toddler began to cry, Renner accused Washington of being absent in their child’s life.
“This is the third time he has done this. He doesn’t want to go with you, so actually show up, coz he does this every time,” Renner told Washington in the video.
On the court, PJ Washington is facing challenges in his potential extension with the Mavs. With the Mavericks entrenched well above the salary cap and luxury‐tax apron, locking Washington into a four-year, $90 million deal would secure a key rotation piece but simultaneously make him untouchable in any future trade, which is a flexibility Dallas may be reluctant to sacrifice.

As one of four players who will hit free agency after this season, the delay in Washington’s extension highlights the franchise’s delicate balancing act between retaining talent and preserving roster maneuverability, leaving fans and analysts to question how highly Dallas truly values one of its stars.
PJ Washington Receives Luxury Car Gift From Wife
Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington marked his 27th birthday on August 23 with a jaw-dropping gift from his wife, Alisah Washington, amid a whirlwind of on- and off-court headlines.

Washington, currently managing crucial contract negotiations with Dallas and a publicized custody disagreement with former partner Brittany Renner, was gifted a new 2025 Rolls-Royce Cullinan, valued at $472,750. Alisah Washington revealed this surprise on Instagram, sharing a refined photograph of the ivory SUV accompanied by a sincere message.
“It was only right,” Alisah said. “I did my big one, you’ve always gone above and beyond to make sure I’ve gotten everything I could ever want. This is my way of showing how much I appreciate you. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY, hope you love it.”
