It was an emotional Wednesday night for Lebron James in Ohio as his Los Angeles Lakers paid his former team Cleveland Cavaliers a visit. He got a fitting tribute to start the game but they ended up losing it by 30 points.

They did not get the ending they wanted and then a Cavaliers player tried to shove it in by making a shady comment about Lebron and his time with the Cavaliers.
Jaylon Tyson joined Donovan Mitchell on the courtside for a quick interview after they pulled off the 129-99 win over their visitors. Tyson scored 20 points while Mitchell had 25.
The 2024 20th pick must be too excited that he said the most awkward thing on television when asked about Lebron.
“This is Donovan Mitchell’s city now,” he said. “When he comes back here, we’re going to make sure everybody root for him like they did for [James].
“This is his stuff. This is his city.”
Jaylon Tyson is lame for trashing LeBron’s Cleveland tribute like this…
The disrespect 🤦♂️

Donovan Mitchell honors Lebron James
It was an awkward moment and Mitchell, who has been the team’s star player since James left them in 2018 made sure that it won’t be blown out of proportion.
In the same interview, he remembered and honored what the four-time MVP has done for the community.
“As much as I appreciate that, at the end of the day, [LeBron] led the foundation. He’s done a lot for the city, being from here. Obviously you want to replicate that,” he said.

“He deserves the energy that he’s got here.”
The 2016 title is still the lone championship Cleveland has. James played for them from 2003 to 2010 and then from 2015 to 2018.
