Recently, James Harden‘s name has been mentioned in numerous conversations. Mostly, it’s about him being compared to Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic. On Wednesday’s episode of “Game Over” with Max Kellerman and Rich Paul, the NBA agent had a bold claim about Harden’s lack of a championship.
Paul dove deeply into the Doncic-Harden comparison in the latest episode. During the prime years of the 11-time All-Star, he led the Houston Rockets to multiple playoff appearances as a lone star. His situation was similar to the Slovenian star’s, who was by himself with the Dallas Mavericks until he was traded to the Lakers last season.
The Klutch Sports CEO analyzed how the Rockets were constructed around Harden and gave a bold take about not having won a title.
“If you’re saying this (Luka Doncic) is James Harden 2.0, you know what I would do? I would go back and look at how a team was constructed around Harden,” Paul said. “And I would look at my current team.
Rich Paul believes James Harden would’ve had 3 rings if he played with LeBron 👀

“I can almost guarantee you, there was no LeBron James on that team with Harden, because if there was, he would have three rings.”
Rich Paul added that if Harden had a co-star who was as good as he was at that time, he would’ve won multiple titles.
Rich Paul called out the narrative that Jayson Tatum will ruin the Boston Celtics when he returns

The Boston Celtics have done well without their best player, Jayson Tatum, who’s out recovering from a torn Achilles tendon injury. According to reports, Tatum will likely miss the entire 2025-26 season. But there’s a slim chance he’ll return to the lineup late in the campaign.
With that in mind, there have been questions about how he could affect the Celtics’ performance. Rich Paul called out the media for spreading the narrative on the latest episode of his podcast.
“Comparisons are the thief of joy. That’s why we see these dumb takes on ‘Jayson Tatum if he comes back to the Celtics it’s gonna hurt the team.’ What!?” Paul said. “These people are crazy.”
The Celtics are second in the Eastern Conference with a 23-12 record. Thanks to Jaylen Brown’s leadership, Boston has remained competitive despite not having Tatum.
