The great start Milwaukee Bucks had is fading and their season is turning to what most critics think about their squad. They have fallen to 8-7 or eighth spot in the Eastern Conference and it can get worse for them with Giannis Antetokounmpo about to miss several games.

The Greek Freak had to be shut down in their loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers after only 13 minutes of burn time for what appeared to be a groin injury. The injury occurred during a contact play in the second quarter and Antetokounmpo had to foul someone just to be able to be taken out of the game.

The Bucks were very much in that game as they established a 33-26 lead in the first quarter. The Cavs managed to capitalize on the two-time MVP’s absence by taking the second quarter and outscoring their visitors in the fourth, 26-18.

Donovan Mitchell led the way for the hosts with his 37 points and 7 assists while former Bucks Sam Merrill had 20 points.
Giannis finished with 14 points, 5 rebounds, and four assists.
Giannis Antetokounmpo needs further tests
Head coach Doc Rivers was asked about the Greek Freak’s injury and said that he does not know anything but it looks like they are preparing for the worst.
Doc Rivers told reporters that he had no further update on Giannis Antetokounmpo and the next step will be imaging on Antetokounmpo’s left groin strain.
“We won’t know anything until tomorrow. Didn’t look great, I can tell you that.” – Rivers

He also said that it might have been caused by continuous contact.
“He grabbed (his groin), I want to say in the first quarter and I asked him then,” Rivers said.
“He said it was fine. Then I think he grabbed it again and he said it was fine. And then the third time, you know, is when it happened. But I think it happened earlier, in my opinion.”
The Bucks are gearing up for a tough November. They are set to meet the Philadelphia 76ers and Detroit Pistons next and the Miami Heat and New York Knicks next week.
