Rockets Great James Harden Gives Glowing Review to Former Team’s 2025-26 Squad, Commends Growth of Youngsters – ‘Very, Very Good Structure’

It’s been ages since the James Harden last played for the Houston Rockets and between the two, the latter was the one who immediately suffered.

The Rockets had to go through miserable years after the Beard decided to try a new environment. Harden, on the other hand, got to play for teams who were meant to contend for the title.

Four years have passed. How is Houston doing now? The 2018 MVP thinks the the team is in a much better place now based on the decisions of the front office. He thinks they got a good structure, good mix of veteran and young players, lead by his former Oklahoma City Thunder teammate Kevin Durant.

I asked James Harden about what it’s like seeing the Rockets rebuild come full circle and the franchise great had nothing but nice things to say:

“Amazing, you know Alpi, Amen — Jabari, their growth. Then you add KD into the mix. They’re a good team.” https://t.co/2gZCgI4xSf pic.twitter.com/jyAbWVYFA9

The Rockets are indeed the better structured team now. They got good young guns in Alperen Sengun and Amen Thompson who in few years time might contend for the MVP award. They are supported by good veterans like Clint Capela and Steven Adams, both former teammates of the Beard.

    James Harden, Clippers struggle continue

Clippers made a controversial and drastic move last week by letting Chris Paul go but it hardly affects their campaign.

They lost the Houston Rockets despite having both Harden and Kawhi Leonard in the game. The pair scored a combined 46 points, and 11 assists.

Ivica Zubac had his best game of the season with 33 points and 7 rebounds.

They lost by just two points after an inbound violation with a few seconds to go in the game.

The Clippers lost their third straight game after getting one on the road against the Atlanta Hawks. They are now 2-8 in their last 10 and still buried at 14th spot in the Western Conference standings.
