Russell Westbrook’s wife Nina Westbrook recently celebrated her 36th birthday, and the Denver Nuggets point guard took to Instagram to wish her. Westbrook put up a monochrome photo of his wife wearing a flowy dress with spaghetti straps and wrote some sweet, affectionate words in praise of his wife.

Westbrook is currently playing for the Nuggets with whom he is enjoying his first season. Before Denver, the 36-year-old played a season for the Los Angeles Clippers. The point guard was selected by the Seattle SuperSonics in the first round of the 2008 NBA draft after playing college basketball for the UCLA Bruins.

“My Queen, I’m extremely grateful to share each day with you, Your love makes my life complete in so many ways. Im excited to see what God has planned for you because I will be right on your side every step of the way. I Love you suga and I appreciate you and everything that you do. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!🎊🎉🎂🎈 Russell Westbrook wrote on his Instagram post.

Russell Westbrook And Denver Nuggets To Take On Miami Heat Next

On another note, Russell Westbrook and the rest of the Denver Nuggets are getting ready to face the Miami Heat for the next game in the NBA schedule. Before this, the Nuggets played against the Houston Rockets and unfortunately lost the game with a final score of 128-108.

In that game, Denver’s offense was Jamal Murray who put up 22 points on the scoreboard, grabbing three rebounds and assisting five times, while Christian Braun matched the same number with five boards and a single helper.

Russell Westbrook managed another 17 points for the Denver Nuggets with four boards and a pair of assists, while Julian Strawther and Peyton Watson each scored ten points for the team. As of now, the Nuggets are ranked fourth in the Western Conference after winning 24 games and losing 16 so far in the season, and will try to move up the ladder by winning against the Miami Heat.

In their previous matchup with the Miami Heat, the Nuggets managed to win the game, 135-122, and are hoping to repeat the win in this matchup as well. In the ongoing season, Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. have emerged as top performers for the Denver Nuggets.
