Russell Westbrook’s legacy won’t be measured in box scores alone. Though his on-court moments sometimes bring unwanted backlash to the table, the Sacramento Kings guard proved how much his fans respect him on Saturday night after the team’s overtime thriller against Houston Rockets.

Westbrook spotted a superfan holding a stack of ten jerseys in the crowd. Every uniform represented a chapter of his 17-year NBA journey. He did sign all of them and gave her his game-worn Kings jersey before leaving the hardwood court.
Russell Westbrook Delights Superfan by Signing Ten Different Jerseys
The absolutely wholesome scene unfolded at Golden 1 Center after the final buzzer. Westbrook walked toward the stands and noticed an emotional superfan clutching a ton of jerseys that nearly covered her face.

She drove from San Jose to show Russ the loyalty she’d carried through Oklahoma City, Houston, Washington, the Lakers, the Clippers, and now Sacramento. For the unversed, she had Blue Thunder, Red Rockets, White Wizards, Purple Clippers, two Lakers jerseys, a UCLA throwback, and both Kings jerseys.
It took sufficient time to complete the autograph season, but Russ took his time with each piece and signed all ten patiently. When he was about to write his name on the last jersey, the superfan literally broke into tears.
Then Westbrook pulled his game-worn jersey off, signed it, and handed it over. That sweat-soaked purple kit came from a night where he put up 21 points, 13 rebounds, and four assists in an overtime win.
Every fan surrounding the autograph session captured the exchange on their phones, and the clips of that priceless moment went viral on social media within hours. No doubt, Russ made her day.
Despite being an elite NBA player, Westbrook catches heat for his on-court decisions. Critics questioned his fit everywhere he landed. However, it is surprising to see that he has some devoted fans who drive miles to meet him. And it is not only about that lady super fan with ten jerseys.
Russell Westbrook Gave Jersey to Fan Who Traveled 6,000 Miles From South Korea
Back in March, when Westbrook suited up for Denver Nuggets, another superfan caught his attention. The superfan introduced himself as Taehyun Kim, who flew 6,000 miles from South Korea to Ball Arena.

Kim held a sign that read, “It’s my 4th time traveling 6,000 miles to see you. Wherever you are, I’ll always support you.”
The Nuggets broadcast crew spotted him courtside during the game against Sacramento. They interviewed Kim, who explained he became a Russ fan ten years ago, watching OKC triple-doubles.
He removed his sweaty Nuggets jersey and handed it over after signing on the number. The South Korean fan branded the moment as the best of his life because, alongside the jersey, he received a warm hug from shirtless Russ.
