The Sacramento Kings lost three games straight but in those three, they appeared to be ready to fight the opponents to the end as they were able to keep it close until the last quarters happened. They lacked the fight and to Dennis Schroder, that finally showed in their win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Kings upset the Bucks in Wisconsin to record their second victory in six games. Unlike in the previous losses though, they started lethargic in this game. They trailed by around 15 points in the first quarter but only managed to turn things by the second quarter.
Schroder thinks they needed that commotion between Domantas Sabonis and Bobby Portis for them to show off their fangs.

“We like that,” he told reporters when asked about the scuffle.
“At the end of the day, you guys know how I play, and that’s just motivation. I think that brought us more together.”
Schroder added that it showed that they are finally coming together for one purpose.

“Russell having Domas’ back right away, making sure he’s right there. I think that shows that we want to become a team and we’re getting there,” he added.
“I was really happy I was on the bench at that time. I couldn’t get on the floor because I would have got a suspension, but Russell had his back, and I think it fueled us.”
Doc Rivers on when they lost it vs Sacramento Kings
The win was still for anybody’s taking after the second half with the Bucks up by just one point. Third quarter came and the Kings outscored their hosts by six points.
Bucks coach Doc Rivers thought that technical foul call against Portis shifted the momentum to the Kings.
“The emotional, I agree with you, it definitely changed when Sabonis and Bobby, right,” he said. “But I thought it even started before then …”

“… Again, I’ve always said that I’m fine with all the talking as long as you can play still. If you can’t then we got to keep our focus.”
Next up for the Kings are Westbrook’s former team Denver Nuggets. The Bucks, meanwhile, will try to get back to winning ways when they visit Indiana Pacers.
