Things are reaching the boiling point for Sacramento Kings fans and one season ticket holder fan exemplified that on Wednesday when he personally confronted the team, specifically Zach Lavine, for their poor performances.

The end of the Kings’ NBA Cup game against the Phoenix Suns, which they lost, was interrupted when a fan, identified as Devlin Carter stormed the team’s bench to say something to the team. He specifically verbally attacked Lavine for his defense.
Kings were down 86-102 at this point.

People thought he was just a fan frustrated over his betting. That’s what Lavine thought, too, with this response.
Turned out, he is a season ticket holder and he represents every disappointed Kings fans right now as the team fell to 5-14.
Lavine finished the game with 13 points and 6 turnovers.

Kings were able to stitch up two straight wins with the return of Keegan Murray but they were not able to build up on that.
Zach Lavine called out by fan again
It was a weird moment for many, especially non-Kings fans but to Carter, he thought it is high time for the team to hear fans like him.
Explaining himself on an Instagram live, he said he is frustrated with the effort made by Lavine.
“What happened is, after not 1, not 2, 3, 4, 5, but after the 6th time Zach LaVine leaves his man wide open for a three, Doug Christie calls a timeout, they come over to the bench,” he said.
“I say, ‘Yo, we don’t pay to watch you not play defense.’ And Zach LaVine looks at me and says, ‘Go home, get your a** home.’ So, I start letting him have it.”

He added that fans deserve more passion from the player.
“I was like, ‘No, I paid to be here. You go home, you getting paid over $40 million, you only got eight points and we in the fourth quarter. You didn’t show up. Once again, you didn’t show up. All these fans in Sacramento, they deserve better than that.”
