The Sacramento Kings will look to fill out their roster ahead of the 2024-25 season by hosting “competitive workouts” with several free agents this week. According to Sean Cunningham of KTXL, the team will have Tony Bradley, Juan Toscano-Anderson, Lonnie Walker, and Isaiah Thomas in the workouts.

Isaiah Thomas is a fan favorite among Sacramento Kings supporters. The 35-year-old started his NBA career with the Sacramento Kings after he was selected with the No. 60 pick.

Thomas had his best years with the Boston Celtics, especially since he was an MVP candidate after leading them to the 2017 Eastern Conference Finals. However, injuries derailed his career, and he has been trying to find his way back to the NBA for the past few seasons.

Lonnie Walker IV spent the 2023-24 season with the Brooklyn Nets, averaging 9.7 points per contest. Tony Bradley played in the NBA during the 2022-23 campaign for the Chicago Bulls, while Juan Toscano-Anderson was with the Sacramento Kings in January but played just 11 games before he was cut.

The Sacramento Kings made several moves this summer. Besides acquiring DeMar DeRozan in a sign-and-trade, they added Jalen McDaniels, Jordan McLaughlin, and Orlando Robinson in free agency while re-signing Malik Monk and Alex Len.

On the other hand, the team saw Harrison Barnes, Chris Duarte, Davion Mitchell, and Sasha Vezenkov leave for the San Antonio Spurs, Chicago Bulls, Toronto Raptors, and Olympiacos, respectively.

The Sacramento Kings are eager to return to the playoffs after losing in the play-in tournament last season. They are in a great position to do so because of their summer acquisitions.
