The Sacramento Kings made it abundantly clear that they’re not messing around in the offseason when they agreed to a sign-and-trade deal with the Chicago Bulls for the services of DeMar DeRozan. Signing the six-time All-Star is a big win for the Kings considering how DeRozan was heavily linked to a few other teams before he decided to choose Sacramento.
As it turns out, however, the Kings aren’t done with their offseason activity just yet.
Sacramento Kings Linked to Kyle Kuzma Trade

Apparently, the Kings have major plans to further upgrade their roster heading into the new season. This could come in the form of Washington Wizards star Kyle Kuzma, who reportedly remains on Sacramento’s radar. This report comes via NBA insider Evan Sidery of Forbes Sports:
“The Kings remain interested in trading for Kyle Kuzma after acquiring DeMar DeRozan, per @damienbarling. Sacramento can make salaries work including Kevin Huerter alongside future draft capital.
“Washington has been holding out for two first-round picks in Kuzma talks,” Sidery reported on X, formerly Twitter.

As the report indicates, however, the Kings will need to cough up a massive trade package in order to get their hands on Kuzma. The one-time NBA champion forward has emerged as a sought-after name on the trade market, and the Wizards are intent on squeezing out as much value as they can out of the 28-year-old.
It also goes without saying that Sacramento will also need to fend off interest from opposing teams as they try to add another potential game-changer to their roster for -024-25.
