A win is something worth celebrating and that’s what Houston Rockets did last week when they launched a new activity to stamp their home wins. The celebration did not sit well with some, especially to Sacramento Kings fans who thought it was a copy cat of their Light the Beam celebration.

The two teams met on Sunday and the Kings made sure to take what was supposed to be their signature trend after winning the game. Their X account also made sure to quote the original Rockets post. Not only that, they just used the original Rockets post and changed it to their trademark violet and black tones.

The original Rockets post was not well-received anyway.
The Spurs and Rockets trying to copy what Sacramento has. You don’t have the same energy from the fans! It’s not the same. 🤣

Houston Rockets have a problem
Kings’ trolling is least of the Rockets problem right now as they fall to a a third straight game, which started right after that copycat celebration.
They lost three games they have no business losing. They dropped two close ones against the Portland Trailblazers and the latest one against the Kings who are the worst team in the league and were on a 7-game losing streak before Sunday win.
Kevin Durant has been leading the team but his efforts were not enough that in the second loss to the Blazers, he let his frustration out. They were without Alperen Sengun in the last one.
Fans are now equally frustrated.
We are 0-3 since this tradition started. https://t.co/sBxA7xZPoK

The Rockets suck without Fred VanVleet. This season is a complete waste unless they can find a legitimate point guard. And no, the KD trade was not a mistake. KD has been playing MVP-level basketball. But losing Fred really does hurt THAT much.

Rockets lose to the Kings without their best player.
It’s ok my team and players are too elite to try against bad teams. We only perform against good teams.
That’s my squad 😤😀👍 pic.twitter.com/xLNBiGmceC

Next up for Houston are the Chicago Bulls and Oklahoma City Thunder, both at the Toyota Center.
